The practice of Naturopathy can be traced back to over 1000 years to the time of Hippocrates, who is known as the father of medicine (460 BC to 357 BC). He considered diseases to be an effect of imbalanced in such natural elements as air, water, sunshine, and nourishment. As the name suggests, Naturopathy is the treatment or prevention of disease without a drug, use natural therapies like changes in diet and lifestyle. It is based on the belief that the body is self-healing and has the ability to repair itself and recover from illness if in a healthy environment.
